Review content:
Let's see, where do I began. First of all when we (me and my significant other) entered the spa, we were ignored by a group of ladies for about 10 minutes. They were training new employees and making a lot of noise (I hope that poor customer service was not a part of it). Finally we were assisted. (the upstairs was very tranquil yet modern, and we quickly forgot about the rude staff downstairs) Let's move forward to the massage; we got a couple's massage. I had a man, while he had a lady. During the entire massage, I could hear my masseur breathing heavily (from exhaustion/ not physically fit?), and at one point, he thought it would be a good idea to remove his shirt/ uniform. I didn't mind it, when he asked, but unfortunately his forearms were sweating and were clammy and cold against my back - DISGUSTING! I could not relax between the loud breathing and the cold, sweaty arms. The entire experience was ruined, and as you can guess, we will never return to Spa Sydell, again.
Pros: ambiance
Cons: staff
