I am a "convert" to chiropractic medicine, and I have Dr. Mark to thank for that. My daughter had a sports injury that didn't seem to improve, so on a whim I went to Advantage Chiropractic. Within weeks, my daughter was back to normal and out of pain and running again. So, I checked it out for myself and Dr. Mark educated me on why chiropractic medicine is so important for me as I age.
Dr. Mark Doody has made quite an impact on the Elizabethtown community in the short time he has opened his clinic. Even though he is the largest chiropractor in the Etown and surrounding communities, the clinic is homey and comfortable and the staff is very friendly.
Dr. Mark graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic Medicine and has treated thousands of patients in West Virginia and Wisconsin before settling in Lancaster County to raise his family.
I love that he offers traction and muscle stim, but he also has foot massaging and chair massaging machines free of charge for patients who want to utilize them as part of their treatment.
On staff, he has a Masters graduate exercise physiologist, and a certified fitness trainer as his chiropractic assistants, so they are really great to show the physical medicine side of care. Their stretching and exercise advice is beautiful! He also has a diplomaed Nutritionist on staff who provides counseling.
Chiropractic care isn't just "back cracking" anymore, and Dr. Mark is obviously very committed to the whole person. He's on the cutting edge of where wellness and preventative medicine is going, and has the patient base to prove it!
