response to our customer that purchased the 01 Explorer; Yes, that truck had some rust issues but we were selling it cheap. We chose to offer it for sale because it was a good running V8 Explorer that ran out very nicely. We were aware that it had rust issues and we made sure you were aware of it before you left a deposit on the truck. The day you came here to pick up the Explorer you asked us to reduce it even further due to the rust issue. Your sale price turned out to be $3200. We are disappointed that this truck didn't measure up to your expectations. We are asked for vehicles in the $3K price range on almost a daily basis. There are very few vehicles in this price range that are decent enough to sell off our lot. Most vehicles in this price range will have issues. We are not sure what happened to your exhaust but we are again disappointed that this truck did not meed your expectations!
