Review content:
I found Harvey Hinklemeyer's bread sticks in the mid '80's while living in Peru. We would visit Harvey's back when they were located across the bridge on the opposite side of town. We loved their pizzas but were totally crazy about their big, thick, glazed bread sticks and cheese sauce.
I would take my girlfriend there after a football game, and my family would order "take-out" on the weekends.
I used to visit the new Harvey's a few years ago before I relocated really far away from Peru, but my Mom was a big fan till the end!
If I'm ever back in Peru, you can bet I'll order a sausage/mushroom/extra cheese and double order of bread sticks and cheese (before I go to the East End for a hot fudge sundae!)
Take care!
