I sent my child here for one summer - biggest waste of my money. For one, the staff was horrible to my six year old. She came back three times crying, especially from one of the receptionists - can't quite recall what his name was. My daughter is a tough girl and rarely cries, but they were really harsh to her here. The facility is pretty bad too - it's located in a tiny suite where kids are crammed into rooms the size of a dog crate. There's gum everywhere, and the corners are filled with pieces of trash. They expect too much out of the kids - they'll assign ten pages minimum of homework to first graders, and if they don't finish they'll stuff them in detention. First graders have to write an essay on which they are graded on weekly. I understand that it's an educational summer program, but they really don't have to grill them like this! I really don't think my daughter learned much - she was just under pressure the entire summer. They do allow children to walk to the park on some days, and they offer swim classes. I signed my child up for swimming, and it turns out they drive the kids to a high school. They're taught by young instructors, and one was especially snarky to the children - I saw firsthand. The schedule is pretty harsh too - there's a ten minute break in between two hour sessions. After a lunch break it's back to work - kids go in a classroom where they do homework for two hours. My daughter couldn't learn anything through this harsh schedule - kids can only sit still for so long! They also have a vending machine here - no, two. They both spit out junk food like soda and candy. Oh, and my daughter informed me the receptionist sells candy behind her desk like M&Ms. She told me some of the kids eat 3 bags a day - that's crazy. Overall, awful educational school. Don't send your kid here.
