If you do not mind searing amid endless racks of what appears to be junk, then Play Time Inc. is the place for all of your arts and crafts supplies needs. When first walking in to Play Time Inc the array of disorganized and mismatched aisles may intimidate you. Ask any one of the staff and they will prove their store is not an arts and crafts hovel but rather a mecca for artists, stay at home moms and elementary school kids needing a crafting fix. The prices are slightly higher than the big craft chains (Michaels, AC Moore) but the high number of repeat customers and locally owned atmosphere are appealing. Play Time Inc is a great resource for questions about your crafting needs. The staff is knowledgeable and can offer tips and advice for all your crafting questions. With a large parking lot in the back, as well as on street parking in the front, it is one of the few Arlington businesses with an acceptable amount of parking.
