Businiess name:  American Concrete Contractors & Pumping
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
Home owner BEWARE!. Had a concrete cutting job needing done. American Concrete (also called A&A Concrete b.t.w) gave the lowest bid with flowery assurances they would do the best job. A guy named "Tony" (who identified himself as the vice president of the company), said he was handing off the job to one of their concrete "pumpers" named Dan. Dan did an OK job cutting the lip, but the liquid concrete patch he put over the rough spots left from the cutting cracked and crinkled the next day when it dried. Naively/trustingly, I had paid Dan in full the day of the Job. I called Dan back and he said he would come back to grind down the cracked/rough areas with a grinder. Three separate times I took time out to be at home when Dan said he would show up and take care of the problem. He never showed (promises bought time to allow the check to clear) Now after 2 months and numerous phone calls and promises from both Dan and Tony - NOTHING. I made the mistake of paying them in FULL the day they did the job. DON'T do that! ...Pay them 1/2 and WAIT till everything is done/dry and complete! Better yet…get another concrete contractor!
