I thought my wife's Mac died during a power surge. It was nearly a 2 year old G4 when it happened. I couldn't turn it on, no power, nothing. I took it down to Mac Made Easy and in a couple of days I had a phone call. They said it was fixed, and the cost was like $60! I couldn't believe it! The tech said that Mac's had some built in protection circuitry and all they had to do was reset it! I thought I would have had to buy a computer and it cost me $60 bucks to fix it.
I love these guys! Highly recommended.
