Review content:
Dave's Dark Horse Tavern is just as it sounds, extremely dark. During the day it is a restaurant with the best pizza in Starkville, as well as other food that can be described as "bar food". During the night, it becomes an indie hot spot. Local singers such as Bill Cooke (recommend seeing him anytime he is playing!) and bands like the North Mississippi All-Stars and Grey Street make Dave's the perfect place just to come and chill. The bar is very dark and smoky and is really not the place if you are a social butterfly. Most people here come to listen to the music and groove. Although it is a great place to bring a bunch of friends on your birthday! For every four people in your birthday party, you get a free pizza and it is worth bringing everybody you know just to get the free pizza!!!
