Review content:
Last year I bought a new jeep and since the dealership was 45 minutes away, I chose Rockwall Dodge it was closer and the deals on oil changes and tire rotation where great. When my jeep had a defective part I took it there and the service department was wonderful. So when my jeep was due an inspection I continued to give them my business. After about 30 minutes the gentleman came in and told me he had bad news, I needed 4 new tires and wiper blades. I was ok with the wiper blades but this jeep only has 23,000 miles and is serviced every 3000 miles and the tires are rotated every 6000 miles so I questioned it. The gentleman looked at the tires and said they where a little low but he wasn't sure. So the service manager came out and said the same thing, next came one of the inspectors (not the one who had done the first service) with a gage he tested the tires and said they where right at the line but he would pass it (had he inspected it) They all went to the office and the manage came back and said he couldn't over rule the inspector even with the other inspector saying it would pass. That I would still need 2 tires (but the paper work stated 4 tires) he said his hands where tied. I left and went 10 minutes down the road and go my Jeep inspected and I didn't need tires OR wiper blades... I feel they sucker people in with cheap oil changes. Maybe since I'm a women someone thought I'd drop $600.00 on tires. Needless to say myself and my husband will not be back. And I wouldn't recommend using the service department.
