Businiess name:  Chuck's Appliance Service
Review by:  Paul O.
Review content:
We had the unfortunate experience of dealing with this guy after our brand new dryer broke down after just 9 days. After Whirlpool scheduled his service he called us and starting complaining about Whirlpool and appliances. He said our problem was most likely becuase of the gas hook-up and that we should call the gas company first. He said if it was a gas problem so he would charge us $135 just to come out. We ignored his rant and did not call the gas company (a call that would have cost us $120). He came out and discovered it was a manufacturer's defect. He said he would order the parts later that day or the next morning. We called Whirlpool and got them to ship the parts next day. Four days later we called Whirlpool for an update. They said that Chuck did not order the parts yet. We called Chuck to get him to order the parts. We were able to get a tracking number from Fedex and informed Chuck when the parts would arrive. He refused to schedule a service appointment until he had the parts in his hand so we had to wait. He called the day the parts arrived and said he ordered the wrong parts - no apologies, just arrogance. We called Whirlpool and got them to overnight the parts. Chuck refused to come out the next day even though it was his incompetence that had delayed the process twice. He just said if you don't like it then call Whirlpool to send someone else out and good luck with that. He has personally delayed this repair twice by 7-8 days. He has no idea about customer service and he and his secretary are rude and arrogant. AVOID HIM IF YOU CAN!!!
