The Tony Award-winning Actor's Theatre of Louisville is quite a find in a medium-size city like Louisville. They present performances of a very high caliber. Classic plays, musicals, new productions, and even special performances for Christmas (e.g. A Christmas Carol) and Halloween (e.g. Dracula).
Every year's highlight in theatre both in Louisville and for the theatrical community from all over the country is the Humana Festival of New American Plays. Actors Theatre showcases new plays that provide a peek at the future of theatre in America.
