Review content:
We were given a wild five month old rat terrier, and sadly she was given up by her first owner because of her excited nature. She is very smart, but was out of control, to the point of bolting out the front door. I actually feared her getting hit by a car the several times she escaped from our home. We took five private lessons with Malcom, and the results are amazing! At six months old, she can obey commands, with only calm voice control rather than yelling or chasing her with treats - which I was trying with no response from her. After the first lesson with Malcom, she was walking on a lease by my side. She loves the positive affirmation from us, and her reward now is petting and praise with words. She now will sit and stay with an open front door - resisting her urge to bolt. This training will keep her out of danger and pleasant to live around! I am so glad we started training her as a young puppy, rather that correcting bad behavior that she would carry into adulthood. She is such a nice part of the family, rather than an embarrassing nuisance to us and the neighbors! Thank you, Man's Best Friend and Malcom! You are truly the real "Dog Whisperer"!!
