in aug 2010 i had daves install directv the install was very neatly done .however i began to have trouble recording local channels off my am21 off air tuner and dvr.dave made several promises to come over late in the day then promptly missed them without ever calling.i called daves again this time he showed up, changed something but it did not fix the problem.i called again and daves began to blame the local tv stations themselves.then his wife called e and said dave was going to stop by and change the antennae itself.i asked for an appt as my wife is disabled and we wanted to clear the room where the dvr is for dave to work on things.his wife told me she WOULD NOT schedule an appt dave would stop by at his convenience.it is now october 14 and dave has never bothered to show up or call this man can not be trusted to follow up on any problem you may have.i have since contacted dtv vice president for customer relations and they sent a service team to check out my issue .dtv changed some things and we are now watching to see if the problem is alleviated.i have no problem with dtv but i cannot recomend daves he makes appts and then misses them , he refuses to make appts and makes you sit and wait to see if he will show up.hes a polite nice guy but he cant be trusted,DO NOT utilize his business you will be sorry if you have a problem.
