Marise and all the ladies at A Formal Affair were outstanding! I can't say enough good about them! I bought my dress from them about two years before my actual wedding date. About 8 months before my wedding date I had lost so much weight that I was being told by seamstresses in my own town (Savannah) that my dress was unable to be altered to fit me and that I shoudl either consider putting the weight back on or just buy a new dress. I called Marise at A Formal Affair and she explained that their alterations department could do wonders on a dress and recommended that I come up to Atlanta to see them before resigning to the fact that I might have to buy a new dress (cause I was not putting the weight back on). Once I made it to the store, Hannah in their alterations department took one look and said not to worry that she could make the alterations! I was so relieved!!! I came back one week later and all the hem work had been done and Hannah finished all the other alterations in less than six hours. She did all this to keep me from having to make multiple trips back to Atlanta! I still can't believe she was able to do all that work (and there was ALOT of work to be done) in essentially less than a week! Hannah and Marise were awesome! I highly recommend that all you brides stop by A Formal Affair for your wedding dress and/or bridesmaid dresses! You will experience exceptional service and a great selection of dresses to choose from.
