Review content:
My son was treated horribly by the staff at Creative Learning, including the director. He was physically restrained for long periods of time which left marks on his body. The "teachers" expect 3 year-old children to sit down at a table and do school work and the expectations are not realistic. I was lied to by teachers about mandatory conferences that were not mandatory and my son learned nothing but negativity from this place. He was put in time out or sent to the director's office for the dumbest things and associated school with the director's office. I removed my son from the school when I found how they were physically harming him and wanted to kick him out of the program if I didn't have him evaluated for a mental disorder or learning disability.
The staff did not try and help with the toilet training process I was working on at home. He was treated like an outcast and either put in another room alone or the entire class would go to another room and leave him if he got upset and this was not for major stuff. My son learned behaviors like pinching and spitting from other children and he got in trouble for it, not the children who showed him in the first place.
My son had never been around children before starting this school and had to transition from being in a new environment with strangers. He was not given a chance and in my opinion was abused my the staff and neglected. I will NEVER send my child back to this place or recommend it to anyone. I think the state needs to evaluate this school and how they deal with children because being physical is not acceptable and isolating children is just plain cruel! I wish my son would have been treated better for his first experience in school. Every school I have talked to does not do time out, send children to the director's office, isolate the child, or physically harm them like Creative Learning does.
You are being lied to and mislead the second you walk through the doors for a tour or talk to the director on the phone. Don't enroll your child here!
