Businiess name:  Loren's Auto Repair

Review content:
I called these guys for a heater core replacement on a 1999 dodge durrango. When I asked how much the part was, acknowledging to her that I was aware that there was a mark-up from them to me for the price of the part. I was told that the price of the part from Dodge to them was $264 and lorens price to me was $320. I called the Dodge dealership and was informed the the retail price to me was $199. If a shop was to get that same part with their shop discount it would be about $179! Lorens was going to jack up the price of the part $141!! For those of you not good at math, that is 44% MARK-UP on the part. If a auto repair business lies to you before getting you in the door, how much more are they going to lie to you when they have your car up on the lift, and you are completely at the mercy of their honesty and integrity. If you cant trust Lorens to give you an honest quote, how can you trust them when they tell you that something needs replaced? Trust is vital in your mechanic. Dont trust these guys.
