I have been shopping here for years and I believe you can count on expensive but good quality goods. Variety has gotten better. More and more, however, the attitude of the staff has been getting worse. They always had cashiers with poor attitude, but now its grown to most of the staff including the meat department. Who wants to pay top price and get an unpleasant attitude in the process? This gradual deterioration in attitude became super clear to me because I also shop at Caraluzzi's in Georgetown. What a different. Cashiers are happy and helpful. Produce department will chase down anything you need. Meat department is proud of their offerings and offer friendly banter about things you might have overlooked. Puts a smile on your face after every grocery shopping experience. Poor Peter's...only the desperate or indifferent will want to put up with their unhappiness and snarly attitude. I hope they read this and get their Mojo back.
