Businiess name:  Oasis Bowling

Review content:
We bowl in a league at Oasis Buford and a couple of weeks ago my son's ball was badly damaged in the track by one of their machines. Why this is unfortunate it does happen occassionally and all reputable bowling centers will either fix the damage or in the case of the damage being in the track area will replace the ball. In the case of my son's ball they made a poor attempt at repairing the ball even though it was in the track and it severly effected the performance of a 200.00 ball. A severe flat spot was put in the ball where it rolls. I had several conversations with the Manager, the pro shop that attempted to repair the ball and the owner which all met dead ends. I took the ball to other reputable pro shops in town where I was told the same thing by everybody, the ball was damaged beyond repair. As a matter of fact the damage was so bad one of the shops actually replaced the ball for my son at no charge and only asked to be reimbursed if we were reimbursed by Oasis. Of course this has not happened and Oasis has made it clear they do not care so be very careful if and when you bowl there. Personally I will only bowl there the remainder of the season because we have an obligation to complete the league, after that I will never go back. The fact is their machine severly damaged the ball beyond repair (even the ball mfg. confirmed that) and they would not do the proper thing and replace the kid's ball. FYI the shop that replaced the ball is RAH Pro Shop in Midtown Bowl (Tony Haynes), Tony is one of the most knowledgeable Ball drillers in the area and is a delight to deal with... heck he replaced a ball that he had nothing to do with, just wanted to make sure the right thing was done for my son. We need more businesses like RAH and less businesses like Oasis Bowl.
