Casa is my favorite Athens restaurant by far. With very affordable prices and a preference for the organically-grown, this place should definitely be on your must-visit list.
Sometimes the service is slow and the wait for a table can be long. No parking lot for the restaurant, so you may have to walk a few blocks. Athens is a very safe city, even late at night.
The smoke-free Cantina (bar) is the wait area for the restaurant with its own short menu. The cuisine is OhioTexMex, kind of, sort of.
A local landmark. Tow trucks prowl the local private parking lots 24/7 and it will cost over $100 to get your car back if towed.
Go early (5 pm) for faster dinner service. Great breakfast and lunch, too.
