I came to Discovery wondering " what would be new " and i quickly found out. After the drugs and alcohol left my body - what next. Through the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous I have come to understand that " being of service to others" is a vital part of giving back and helping others recover from a seemingly hopeless situation. Working with another alcoholic ALWAYS helps me get out of myself and leaves me with a purpose. I thank MY GOD for Discovery Place.
