Review content:
I live in the neighborhood and had neglected this store for a long time. I wear mostly military type boots that are re-soleable due to lower back and foot issues, so finding a pair that fits well makes me happy. Having to buy new shoes/boots is a HUGE pain.
That's why I was glad to discover that Ole's is open (8-5:30 M-F, 9-1 Saturday) for business. (don't let the closed sign in the window fool you) Jay is affable and knowledgeable. He presented me with my options for my Danners, both low cost and not so low, and he'll have them done in a week. It looks and smells like a cobble shop should look and smell, and Jay is a great guy, and willing to explain and answer any questions you have. He also noted some other areas of repair that I may need to be aware of in the future too.
KIM that they do not accept Debit or Credit cards.
Looking forward to a long relationship with the local shop.
