I learned about Lisa Hammer who is the listing agent of a house I was looking at so I called the number on the sign. She was so nice, and willing to meet to show the home anytime that was convenient for me, with no questions about my work, my income, my credit. She met my husband and I there and it was not what we were looking for at the time. We sort of put house hunting on hold for a while, but about 6 months later, my husband came across a house he was interested in and we remembered how kind and flexible Lisa was, so we contacted her again. She was willing to meet us nights, weekends, whatever our schedules allowed. She never tried to push her opinion onto us about a property, she showed us homes that included what we were looking for, in our price range, never trying to get us to raise our bottom line. When we did decide on a home to bid on, she showed us that home three separate times, until we were sure we were ready. Lisa stayed with us throughout the whole process, bridging communication gaps between us and the financiers, and making sure we were kept up to speed the whole time. Even now that we are in our new home, she has gone above and beyond by getting us copies of all the paperwork on the house from closing that we lost somehow in the move. We expect to upgrade in a few years as our family grows and we will definitely use Lisa as our Realtor again. We also recommend her to any of our family that are looking to buy or sell their home.
