Said I needed a new solenoid to fix non-funtioning zone. Since he didn't have one in the truck, he would need to return next day. Turns out, my solienoid was not the problem. Found problem in control box. Simply moved small wire to a vacant zone connection. Raised fee from 80 to 120 to change sprinkler head & diagnose selenoid. I've since learned a selonoid can be tested w/out buying a new one & charging another house call. Control box problem could have been caught on day 1. Did a good job but thought i paid too much.
