My roommate picked up a couch off of the curb. In this day you can't be too careful with that and of course the couch was as ugly as sin and had bedbugs. We google searched a ton of exterminators and picked bed bugs queens b/c they had good reviews. they did a thorough job and the bed bugs, the couch, and the roommate are all gone.
