My experience with The Silk Purse comes from the donating side of the equation. The Silk Purse is a thrift store, where you can purchase almost anything at a very low price. They have a well organized, clean environment that offers a much needed service for the community. As far as donating, they make it very easy. About twice a year, I take all the items we no longer need at our house, drop them off and I'm given a tax receipt. It is that easy. Hopefully, someone will need the things we donate, and it is a win, win for everyone.
