Businiess name:  Bayou View Middle School

Review content:
I am lucky enough to live in a great school district. My daughter attends this middle school and it has truly made her expand academically. She has been taking Violin for the last 3 years and was excited to learn that the middle school offers it as an elective. I as a parent love the fact that she can continue doing what she loves to do and I don't have to pay extra for the classes. They also offer an after school program at no cost. Plus this summer they are offering several different summer camp programs for free on a first come first serve basis. I also love the fact that they enforce school attendance. I have been having problems with my daughter not wanting to go to school and as a result of her absences, they are requiring her to take 30 days of summer school starting this week!!. She is a straigh "A" student and because this is mandatory that she give up part of her summer, my daughter now realizes that she has entered a point where it won't be tolerated. I think next school year will be a lot easier on us parents and she realizes that school attendance is just as important has making good grades. This is just a wonderful school if you have kids in grade 6-8.
