Being relatively new to the Hillsboro/Beaverton area after living in downtown Portland for so many years and frequenting Geraldis, perhaps the best Italian sandwich shop in Portland , I couldn't wait to try this establishment upon discovery. Unfortunately it's nothing like the shop downtown. The Chicago beef tasted as if it were a frozen TV dinner placed on a sandwich, and overheated at that until the bread practically came apart. Yes, it's about a dollar cheaper than the downtown location but woefully inadequate. However I'll give another sandwich/hotplate a chance down the road and if favorable am willing to print a retraction. What happened to the days of uniformity of standards for chain restaurants?
