I've eaten at Westside enough times to know what they're like and on average their food is pretty good, one of the best steaks in town actually but the service has always been lacking. But never so much as Friday, May 22. I persuaded my mom to host the graduation dinner for my daughters there instead of Pete's which is tradition for us. Big mistake! Our party didn't get our food until nearly an hour later, which was unfortunate because having not planned for that my daughter (who was graduating that nite) had to leave without having even one bite of her graduation dinner to get to the graduation on time. I WAS MORTIFIED. Adding sting upon sting, there were two other parties going on but even though we ordered first, the other party was serviced before us. It was such a catastrophe, I don't think they can make this right with us. I think they have lost some long-time customers for good.
Pros: Food's usually decent and huge portions.
Cons: Wait staff is inadequate.
