I had tried the various "fly-by-night" Halloween stores in town before coming here and was met with impatience, rudeness, costume try-on limits, and a general disregard for any kind of customer service. NOT HERE. The moment I walked in the atmosphere was relaxing and a wonderful lady asked me if I needed help with a costume or wanted any ideas. I just wanted to browse, so she quickly told me where everything was and how it was organized. She was clean, well-spoken and very nice. I browsed LEISURELY for a while and then decided to try on a few rental costume. They have the pictures of the costumes organized in a binder alphabetically to make finding one easier. I tried on a few and found what I was looking for - a quality costume at reasonable prices. I ended up buying a rental costume, which isn't regular practice, but it just so happened that they had an extra of that particular costume and they wanted my business.
That attitude is SO rare these days - a company actually working for your business. I just can't say enough about this business. I really think that Tulsa has a well-kept little secret and its name is Spotlight.
By the way, their selection is just as diverse, maybe more so with the addition of the rentals, as the warehouse guys. They just don't have one costume in 10 different places in the store. This is how the big guys make it look like they have more stuff/selection. I was also given coupons for $5 off anything in the store to give to my friends.
Please shop local and try this store. This is my first Google review, so I am sorry if it has gotten a little long. Its not everyday that a business actually impresses me with their customer service, so I thought Spotlight deserved a good review.
