... which for someone with a brown thumb is invaluable. I love the look of a finished garden but don't have the time or inclination to really get into it, so whenever I get the urge I need to find someone to point me in the right direction.
I've had good luck with Mike's in that regard. They're patient with questions from someone who obviously has no idea what she's talking about, and haven't steered me wrong yet. I haven't done much comparison shopping but I've been told that their prices are reasonable. Their quality is certainly good, because some of the plants I've gotten there have even managed to withstand being owned by me.
They have a nice selection, and are close to other shopping on Cooper street. It's convenient to stop in and choose the next brown-stick-in-a-pot.
