Best

This is one of my favorite spots to try. Everyone whom I have sent or brought has loved the food and the wine! The service and the ambiance of the location is just fantastic. \r

I've been to one sixtyblue 3 times. I most enjoyed the fried chicken and biscuits - reasonable price, good meal, and love combining it with champagne. On the downside - The tw...

Great place 12/4/2007

Ok so we didn't eat here, but I took my girl here and we sat at the bar and loved it. Great ambiance, great vibe. Nice couches to relax on. The pinot noir was as good as across the street at the Tasting Room. And the dessert was phenomenal...we had a banana dessert that was amazing. Our bartender/server was very attentive and made some great recommendations. It's a great spot to wind down or meet for a date. more

Went on a Lark...and Kept Going Back 6/17/2006

First, I have to admit that I have never eaten a thing at this famous restaurant, but I have been to their bar more times than I'd like to count...ok, not that many, but a lot. One Sixty Blue is the brain child of the famous Michael Jordan (yes, the basketball player), and this man knows style. The restaurant and bar are a hipster's paradise, with accompanying prices. But the drinks and bar service staff will have you dropping in again and again. It's just that good. They know what to suggest when you have quirky taste, and I have had some hot alcoholic drinks there in the winter that I could not even have dreamed up in my wildest imagination. One Sixty Blue is a combination of cool and class. If the bar is any indication, the food must be great. Located in the newly bustling Randolph Street Corridor. Check it out, but remember, I warned you. Once you stop in for a simple drink, you'll be back. more

Pretentious, over-hyped 3/19/2006

We went for our wedding anniversary, and it was really hit-and-miss. First of all, it's DARK in the restaurant. REALLY dark. As in, you can't see what you're eating. My bouillabaisse was pretty good, and my husband got an oven-warmed cheese he liked. The breads they offer (3 varieties) are nice, except that the breadbasket shows up once, and that's it. My husband had to go and talk to the waiter so that they bring bread around again! For a restaurant that expensive, such level of service is unacceptable. My entrée, "special" arctic char, was plain awful. It tasted fishy (well-cooked fish doesn't), the veggies (and I'm a veggie-lover) were disgusting, the skin was all over it... and the waiter DIDN'T warn us that this was THE most expensive dish in the whole menu (it wasn't on the menu, as a special). The dessert, a berry combo, was good, but here's the story: when I called to make a reservation, and they asked me if there was anything we were celebrating, I admitted to an anniversary, and they said, oh, we are giving you a free dessert then! The waiter we got didn't know about it, but he said, sure, I'll notify the main waiter, and bring it out. The main waiter put the dessert on the bill and refused to take it off, saying that they don't do free desserts!!! Goodness - it's not like we even asked for it, they offered it in the first place!!! So, the vibe of the place is worse than McDonald's. You don't even get a smile, and we paid more than $100 for the dinner (without the wine). more

good desserts here 8/17/2005

I've never actually had a meal at this prestigious restaurant, but have been here on several occasions for their excellent dessert menu. They have this little bar in the lounge called the Cocoa Bar. This place is truly amazing!! They have homemade chocolate desserts and truffles included on their extensive menu. Everything is so rich and creamy, you're going to want to have seconds...and thirds too! It's a great place to be at anytime. The crowd is fun and the service is excellent as well. more
