STAY AWAY FROM MODERN COMFORT POOLS.....The salesman will make the company sound great and tell you that the pull will be completed in record time but he truth is that as soon as you sign the contract, they are the worst people to deal with. Bruce (the owner) is a ignorant. He will lie, lie, lie. It took them over three months to install my built in pool which they told me that it would be done in 7 days. The pool is NOT LEVEL. I had to make a decision - have them rip everything out again and start all over or live with it, I had to choose to live with it. My house was a muddy mess for over three months, mostly because they didn't show up. Bruce was a nightmare to deal with. PLEASE STAY AWAY do not go through what I went through. They put my family through hell. They caused a lot of property damage which he refuses to take responsibility. STAY AWAY. There are many reputable companies out there and Modern Comfort Pools is NOT one of them!. more

They are the worst!!! Go to Long Island Pool and Patio. Save yourself the headache of these scammers. Many complaints have been filed against them. Their A+ rating at BBB is because they're a member. CALL the Attorney General. more

I can't even give this company one star they have been a horrendous experience from the start. The pool was supposed to take a few days to put in (semi in ground) it ended up taking a full week...yes a full week! The came and made the hole for the pool and put it up and gave me a hard time about coming back every day to put the dirt back...and take the dirt away. On top of that the hole for the light was leaking I wasn't given the proper tool that I was supposed to be given so when the pool guy came to teach me how to clean the pool he had to come back because I was missing what was needed. Because of this headache bruce advised the pool guy he would waive the last $200.00 we owed. Now here we are ready to close the pool and Bruce refuses to close the pool since he wants $200.00 to close it all the while admitting he waives the charge ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? He does a good job to make you think he is a decent human being but don't let him fool you he has been nothing but a headache. The only time he would return my calls was to discuss money NEVER to take care of the issues I had. Again as I said don't deal with these people and check the web there are other nightmare stories that I choose to ignore thinking he would do the right thing but I was fooled. more

my experience with bruce at modern comfort was a great experience. from the beginning to the end he was there to help turn our yard into a oasis for my family. we highly recommend this company Pros: did a great job from beginning to end more
