Just Another Olive Garden 12/18/2007

Very disappointing and goes to show you what happens when the real owners aren't involved any longer. Such a disappointment! Something always gets lost in translation and as for garlic rolls??? An authentic Italian restaurant would never serve garlic rolls. I have to agree with STACYPIE! \r Another horrible example of commercialism and a new Olive Garden! Cons: Quality of food, Lame Ambiance, Chaotic Service more

Il Mulino is one of my favorite Italian Restaurants. I would go to eat their house salad and garlic rolls alone. Their house dressing is the best. ... more

Inconsistent, disappointing...doesn't even compare to food in NYC. 1/21/2007

Been here a few times and the food is inconsistent. I really enjoyed the Fettucini Saporite and ordered it again and it was dry with very little sauce and raw spinach leaves. The pasta is excellent though. My husband ordered the Chicken Balsalmico. The chicken was rubbery. He also asked for the artichokes on the side and they came out cold like the just came out of the refrigerator cold. So, he ordered something else. He sent back the Penne Alla Vodka because the sauce was way too strong- 3 of us agreed with that one. The waitress was terrible. Never called over the manager and was lax with getting our waters to us- served the appetizer before we even were served water- very poor service. My husband spoke to the manager who told him the vodka sauce is not even made there- they buy it. The best part was the mozzarella sticks- great appetizer. Very disappointed that the food isn't as good with every visit there. Pros: great appetizers, garlic rolls and dessert Cons: service, inconsistency of dishes, sauces not made on premises more

It really is true what everyone says -- such a great place. Social and jovial inside -- great for a fun date or with kids or for when your parents are visiting you when they come down for the winter. Very good food and very good value. Nothing I wouldn't recommend about this restaurant. No reservations and gets very crowded, especially on weekends, of course. So come early, or not too hungry yet, or thirsty for a drink at the bar while you're waiting. Pros: Food, Value, Parking around corner Cons: Crowded early! more

Great food- Go early 3/10/2006

Excellent Italian food- Great pizza and pasta. The salad dressing is to die for. But be sure to go before 7 if you don't want to wait on line. They don't take reservations. Pros: Food Cons: Crowded more

Il Mulino is def the best! I moved to NYC and haven't found anything that compares, especially to the Baked Ziti. Haven't had a bad dish there. THe garlic bread is really great. Too bad they dont have one in NY :( Pros: Amazing food, quick Cons: at 8:00pm 45 min wait, no wait area more

Best Italian Food in Town! 5/18/2005

I frequent Il Mulino at least once a week. Food is very tasty, generous portions, great prices, and friendly wait-staff. I've tried almost every other Italian restaurant within Broward County and always come back to Il Mulino. Try the eggplant parm... best in the country!! Pros: Quality of Food, Price, Service more

Cheap Italian 6/22/2004

Good lunch Italian place, inexpensive good food. The menu seemed a bit limited but had good options for lunch. The food came a bit slowly, but that seemed more a kitchen issue than a waitress one. Pros: Inexpensive, Good Food, Centrally Located more
