Today was the first time at Granteld Salon. I too have read all the great reviews online and thought it was too good to be true. Well, it’s true! I have to say this is the BEST salon I have ever gone to. Why? High energy, friendly, reasonable price, and they work as a team. I was watching Tim, and he was in the middle of highlighting another woman’s hair. I was thinking, “This guy is running late for sure, maybe I should reschedule or just forget it”. Nope, I was wrong. The man CAN multi-task. He started on me on time. I never once was delayed. In fact, he squeezed another gal in for highlights and a trim. Tim and another hairdresser, colored my roots. Oh, did I mention I have really thick hair, enough for 2? I had an awesome hair wash by a coworker. And their sinks do not hurt your neck, at all. Tim cut my hair (V-cut and layered). Then 2 other girls blow dried and flat-ironed my hair (I felt so special). After that, Tim worked his magic and textured and shaped it to perfection. Best hair cut ever! And, to top all that, I got a discount on being a first timer. But wait! Tim refused TOO much tip. He felt it was not reasonable to accept and kept giving ME back my money. WHO DOES THAT??? Tim has won me over.\r more

Located in the same shopping area as Walmart Market, and Walgreen's Drugstore, at the intersection of Grant and Eldridge, is Granteld Salon. Timothy is the owner and one of the best color artists and hair stylists I have ever found! I have been going to Timothy for almost 4 years now. I have my hair colored with high and low lights and always like to try new styles. Timothy is a good listener, yet is fast and courteous, and always accomplishes what you want. Due to his experience, he knows the type of hair stylists he wants to work in his salon, to maintain his excellent reputation of superior service. His prices are better than any other salons I have found in Houston, citywide. So if you travel this area already or if you're just looking for the best salon to get your hair done, Granteld Salon with Timothy and his team are the place to go! You'll be glad you did!!!! more

After read review online I decided to call Granteld Salon . They recommended Tommy and I was kind worry because I had bad experience in the past with bad stylist but what the heck I try it anyway since they have promotion for half Off for first visit. When I came to see Tommy , guy seem know what to do. All I sat down the chair and crossed my fingers. He started do my hi light color ,and haircut . It was fun to watch when he cut and blow dried my hair , it was so difirrent but in the good way . After I talked to him I found out he used to work in upscale salon some where up North . No wonder after he done , I couldn't believed that the hair on my head ,haircut and color came out so good much more what I expected . Their prices is verry affordable , my first visit paid was dirt cheap. WILL COME BACK. more

I had done a box dye of a lighter color than my natural hair color the night before and hated it. So I looked up salons in the area and found this one because it had a 5 star review. I was very skeptical about the reviews, but I was so desperate I made an appointment hoping everyone was right when they said this place was amazing. Well, THEY WERE! I walked in the salon with a horrible yellow blonde color and walked out a lush brunette! Tommy did my color and he was so sweet and calming...he seriously assured me and relieved so much anxiety. It was a pretty speedy process too; there was no wait and everyone worked so efficiently. All the guys in the salon were super nice and complimentary. They guy who washed my hair gave me the best head massage I've ever had and they blew it dry and, what do you know!, the color was amazing too! Give this place your business and keep them alive, they are too good a treasure to lose! Plus, on your first visit, they give a 50% discount!! Go!! more

Just have to tell you that Timothy is the best stylist ever. I let him do whatever with my hair and I am never disappointed. I followed him from his last salon. His prices are great too. Patrick did my granddaughter's hair for homecoming. It was gorgeous. She was the prettiest girl at the dance. more

I have been looking for a salon since I moved to Cypress last summer. This was the third salon I tried and I am done looking. Timothy highlighted my hair and trimmed up my ends. I LOVE the color and the trim freshened up my hair. The prices are very reasonable at this salon for the quality of hair care you receive. They also have the neatest chair/beds for washing your hair. You end up laying down for them to wash your hair, VERY COMFORTABLE. No neck pain with this awesome invention :) I would recommend this salon and Timothy to everyone, you will not be disappointed. SO HAPPY!!! more

Love the new location and the salon. It's quiet, bright and cheery. Tim is a top notch stylist. He has always done a fabulous job on my daughters hair. His cuts are always up to date with the current looks and we like the highlights. He does a fabulous job a making our hair look natural and a quality look. He knows what will work well with your hair type. So you truly get a uptown cut and style with a quality stylist and assistants, but he doesn't charge you uptown prices!! His prices BEAT anyone around. PROMISE!! I recommend Tim at Granteld Salon. You'll walk away a satisfied customer! more

I've been going to Tim for the past 5 years and I will never switch away from him! I live in Austin now during the year because I am a student at UT and still don't trust any salons here. I will wait until breaks when I return to Houston to get my hair done by him. He is an excellent colorist and does phenomenal on hair cuts. I trust him with my hair and thats a big deal because my hair is my security blanket. He has awesome technique and really knows what will look best. GO HERE, you will not regret it!! and the price is hard to beat!! more

I've been going to Tim since the beginning of 2004 and I get compliments on my cut and high-lights all the time and have since then sent all my family, my girlfriends and their family, and even my boyfriend goes to see Tim now too. He is AMAZING!! His technique makes your haircut last longer. I used to pay twice as much and have my hair break and split about a week later. Tim is incredibly talented and he knows what's trendy and he knows how to do it right. Plus, he's honest about what he thinks will look good on you or what wont. I drive about 45 minutes to see him each time i get my hair done, but trust me, i'd drive farther if i had to because he is WORTH IT!!! CUT, COLOR, HIGHLIGHTS.....Tim has done them ALL on me throughout the years and his work is immaculate! Granteld Salon really is a ""ONE-STOP-SHOP""!!! more

Timothy has been doing my hair for the last 10 years and I wouldn't recommend anyone else! Everyone that I send to him love him and my whole family is now seeing him. He is really talented and does an awesome job at a great price! Everyone ALWAYS comments on how awesome my hair looks!! I totally recommend Timothy for your next haircut and color! more
