Good: They took vouchers from the animal shelter for a rabies shot and a free check-up (eventually, after I explained how they worked three or four times to three or four different people). They were able to see me the day I called without an appointment, but I would have rather made an appointment and been treated better than go when I did and receive little to no common courtesy, much less customer service. I definitely won't be going back! I'll stick with VCA College Hill Animal Clinic!. Bad: Where do I begin??? The desk staff were snippy and unprofessional. They didn't seem to know much about things they should have. For instance, that I just adopted a STRAY cat from the animal shelter, so I didn't know her age or if she'd been spayed...that's why I was there!!! To find out. I felt like I was being rushed through an assembly line the entire time. The vet barely spent any time with my new pet. They're slogan is "We treat your pet just like our own." Well then I feel sorry for their pe. Improvements: A little common courtesy would be nice. Set appointments over the phone so that the staff members actually know what's going on when you get there and you don't have to explain it 800 times. Also, it would be nice if they didn't look at me like I had two heads when I gave them the vouchers from the animal shelter. They acted like I had just greatly inconvenienced them. Sorry for trying to save a life! Anyway, that's part of your job! If you don't like it, give us a break and get a new one.. Other: The vet quoted me an incorrect price. The receptionist tried to make me pay even after I explained the situation. She kept rudely repeating the amount that was supposedly due. Eventually, she said, "The doctors don't really know how much things cost." So? How is that my problem? The vets should know the prices or they should look them up. If they quote an incorrect price, they should honor it. The receptionist didn't even attempt to ask the vet if what I was saying was true..
