Not only did the Carefee Inn accommodate us on one of the busiest days of the year for this small central Texas town they did WONDERFUL providing us service. The Luling Watermelon Thump is a big event in Luling and being as there are only a couple hotels we figured things would be pricey and would not have any vacancy. The gentleman at the desk was more than helpful and offered us a room. The previous place we went did not even want to talk to us as we did not have reservations. Not only did we get a room, the gentleman at the desk came up to make sure everything was okay and to ensure we got in. more

I stayed two weeks at this hotel. It met my needs, a bed, shower, air conditioner, microwave, flatscreen tv on wall, small refridgerator, toilet and no bugs. I was in room 105. I felt I got a pretty good deal for the price. I made my first week reservation ahead of time. I decided to stay one more week in Luling. The desk person was helpful. I would rent a room here again, no problem. I had a 9 month old baby with me. more

Didn't plan on staying in Luling, but wanted to get an early start on the vacation and beat some of the holiday traffic.\r The rate was decent for what we got. Room was clean, bathroom was clean. This is an older hotel, but it appeared some updates to the room and property had been completed recently.\r Everything in the room worked fine. Eveving desk staff was helpful and friendly.\r Just a simple, no frills hotel. Would stay here again if needed. more
