I was surprised that Tifco was rated as 7.8 (before my review). I don't think any Chinese would give it such a low rating.
I am a Chinese has been in Philadelphia area for 6 years, and had been always dissapointed by the food in Philadelphia China Town. Two years ago, I moved to the West suburb, and was recommended to Tifco and has become a regular since then. My husband, an American, is so into Tifco's food now that he totally forgets about his old favorite 'General's Chicken'.
Tifco has two menus: one for Americans and another for Chinese. Definitely order from the Chinese menu! (it has English translations for most of dishes).
The customers are mostly Chinese, but some Americans like the food there as well. Overall, it's a good place for real Sichuan style food, and offers much better food than the Americanized Chinese restaurants in town.
Pros: Good Sichuan cusine, Family friendly
Cons: Separate menus, Not as fancy
