Thursday Feb 12,2009 My husband & I took our 2 teenagers to Zuma for some gocarts, mini golf, bumperboats, batting cages, video games and Pizza. We arrived @ Zuma at 4 pm and they JUST OPENED.I had called earlier in the day to check the times which clearly stated on the recorded message they opened at 12 NOON-9 PM..Again we arrived at 4PM and they had just opened. We bought the fun pass which was 24.89 w/ tax and the mgr (what a joke) told us that the gocarts and bumper boats wouldn't open until 6 because he had no staff there (he was the only one there) and they would be closing at 8:30.So we played a few games, more than half of these games didn't work & couple ate our tokens and so decided we would try our luck at mini golf. The courses were littered with trash leaves etc some of the ""green turf"" was torn up making putting the ball a chore so we decided we would get a drink and sit outside and enjoy the beautiful day.We went back to the desk and I ordered a icee he said we don't have icees (the menu said different) I looked at the soda fountain and he said we have no drinks or food at all.He claimed this was because they were changing vendors. We drove to a store to get a soda determined we would have fun with the go carts and bumper boats. At 6:10 someone finally got there and started the carts,we rode a few times and my husband asked the guys who were working the carts when the bumper boats would open (this was almost 7) and he said its too cold.It was 67 last night (i checked when we got in my car) and proceeded to chat up his woman friend who had been there quite a while. We went inside and I politely asked the ""manager"" if he had a contact number for the management company for ZUMA,he asked what the problem was and I told him.He walked away from the counter across the game room to a office and a couple of minutes later returned with a piece of paper with a number scratched on it,I said thank you and he walked off silently. This place is sad and poorly ran.
