AWFUL, COLD SMELLY PIZZA. I wanted to cry about how bad the pizza was here. I complained and the person threw my money back at me and yell at me to go.

Pizza had a weird taste to it. Asked if I could get a different slice and was told only if I paid for another piece. What a jerk! I think the pizza was very old and had turned bad. I will not go back here. I had z pizza in Long Beach and loved it. This is a loser location only. Z pizza is a great place, but just not in La Jolla. more

Lousy pizza, don't waste your time or money 3/31/2012

For the price of pizza here you would this it would at least taste good. Glad only stop for snack or would have wasted more money. This was a lousy place for pizza. California pizza is in the same shopping center. Go there and get a good pizza. more

My son and I love Z Pizza!!! We have to go in at least once a week to get our fix of the Casablanca pizza and a dose of the friendly service... what a treat!!! The pizza is so delicious! It's easy to grab a slice or two or call ahead for a whole pizza...OR pasta and salad.... (great menu!!) the atmosphere is comfy... we like just hanging out chatting with the owner.. my toddler has a crush on her!!! If you have never experienced Z Pizza... run don't walk!! Thank you Z Pizza... you make this busy moms life a whole lot easier!!! we LOVE YOU!!!!! :-) Pros: easy to access.. quick friendly service.. YUMMY pizza!!! more

Pizza by the slice! 3/31/2008

I often make a lunch run to Z Pizza in La Jolla. It has a great lunch specials under $7 you can get a drink and two slices of their DELICIOUS Pizza usually about 4 or 5 varieties so everyone is happy. My two favorites are the Tuscan Mushroom (love the carmalized onions and 2 types of mushrooms) and Casablanca (artichoke hearts)! and I am not a vegetarian. Yet I love pizza and you definetly should try it if you are next to a ZPizza. more
