The cafe of my dreams 9/8/2005

I had brunch on Sunday at Zov’s, and it was wonderful. Our server was attentive and helpful, the seating on the patio was nice, and everything came out on time. I ordered the seared tuna salad, which was the best I’ve had anywhere. My friends both got BLTs, which they assured me were delicious, and they came with a bean salad that was so good it could have stood alone. After we finished we went inside to the bakery where we were able to pick up freshly baked cookies and bread. It was charming, and I can’t wait to go back! more

fancy fun 8/21/2005

i have only been able to afford to go here 3 times, but those are some serious memories from my food history. zov's is a good place for a fancy meal if you want to treat yourself (or someone else). they have an interesting mediterranean mix, italian and middle eastern. i have had incredible swordfish and tried a steak. the steak was rare, and really really rare. they don't mess around. it was actually cold inside. but still really delicious. i don't think you can go wrong here. but you might have to save up for the visit. more
