I ordered for delivery on a Friday night. The young woman on the phone was most pleasant, the food arrived hot and quick. I noticed that all dishes were a dollar or two cheaper than the gyro place on Ditmars Blvd. I ordered the Souvlaki Platter with Fries and Salad. It came with plenty of Zatziki and the Salad was very big and came in an extra container. It was a real ""side salad"" not just some greens on top of the meat. It is ""my"" new gyro place, no question. Pros: great tasting, cheaper than other places, very nice people more

I discovered this place shortly after moving to Astoria. I'm so glad I did. It's become one of my staples for take-out and delivery. The prices are very fair and the menu has a large variety. The people there are ALWAYS nice. Has a great tight-knit community feel to it. I don't eat meat, but I hear the lamb is good. I'm a huge fan of their Greek salads...superb!!! They also have their desserts brought in from Omonia, one of Astoria's best bakeries, and they are always delicious. Their homemade hummus is also fantastic. Stop reading this and just go there. Or order delivery, it's free. Pros: Good food, good service, very affordable Cons: Small dining area more

we love Zorbas!! The best gyro in Astoria!!! Everything about the place is awesome - the food great, and the family that owns it is sooo nice! Much better than the overpriced restaurants around them! Pros: Great food, great service! Cons: small dining area more

Zorbas is absolutely fantastic! The food is awesome. Always fresh ingredients, always freshly prepared. Exactly what I expect from a family owned and operated business. Pros: Food, Service, Prices Cons: None unless you're expecting a romantic meal or something. more
