Worth the trip 6/8/2004

Hands down, the best greek food I've had in the Austin area. The stew was delicious, and my friend remarked that it was the highest quality gyro meat he's eaten. Their soups are amazing, as well. more

Best Greek in Austin 7/25/2003

And in the top 3 of any greek/mediterranean/middle eastern variety food I've had around the state and elsewhere. What makes it so wonderful is how fresh everything tastes, well seasoned, and the tenderest meats. I had the sampler plate...everything was absolutely wonderful. And unlike Pyramids or Marakesh, the pita bread was incredibly soft, chewy and warm. Fantastic! The setting is very much as you would expect being in a strip mall, but who cares...the food makes it all worth it. My only complaint is that it's all the way in Round Rock...like to see a Central Austin location! Pros: FOOD Cons: outside Austin more

Outstanding Food 7/24/2003

The food is consistently superb! Everything is fresh and flavorful. I am a huge fan of Greek food and it's nice to have food-diveristy in such a ""southern"" city like Round Rock. The service is the best and one feels very welcomed while dining there. I highly recommend Zorba. more

Zorba: A Definte ""Must-Try"" 7/3/2003

My wife and I discovered Zorba's about eight months ago. Since that time, we usually eat at Zorba's every other week. The food is wonderful. Aromatic and flavorful, each dish has it's own personality as well as a very inexpensive price (the median price for entrees are @$8) My favorites are the Moussaka, Dolmathes, and Gyro Plate. My wife enjoys the Vegetarian plate so she can have five different selections, maxamizing her eating enjoyment. One note is the incredibly tasty hummus. It's smooth texture and creamy flavor is not found anywhere else. The baklava is also very delicious. As a new restaurant, Zorba hopes to be around for quite a long time. When we first started dining there, we were only a handful who knew Zorba was a great place to eat. Now, with the growing number of customers we see, we know others are finding out for themselves, too. Pros: Inexpensive, Excellent Food, Friendly Chef/Owner more

Excellent Excellent Excellent!!! 5/30/2003

I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. Wonderful food and great service. All of the wait staff were very kind, courteous and warm as if they were all your own personal wait person. The owner came out to talk to customers and answered questions. The food had a very home-cooked taste. I couldn't get enough of it and will definitely go back. I highly recommend it. Pros: Great food, Inexpensive, Great atmosphere. more
