The first time I went to zoots, I had a winter coat with a leather collar. They asked me to sign a waiver saying that they would not be responsible for any damage done to the collar as they are not professional leather cleaners. I told them it was an old coat & I didn't care if the collar got damaged. I signed the waiver and requested express cleaning. I needed the coat for a wedding that weekend. They guarenteed that the coat would be back the next day. Not only was the coat not cleaned (despite the fact that I signed the waiver), but the coat was not returned to the store (they have off site cleaning plants) when promissed. In fact, it took them a week to get the coat back to me. I gave them a second chance and my clothes were cleaned satisfactorily. On my third and last visit I droped of a wool cardigan with a matching sash. I specifically mentioned the sash to the worker and she said ""don't worry, I will pin it to the sweater"". I picked up my cardigan and didn't check for the sash until a few days later when I went to wear it. To my horror the sash was missing. It has now been 3 weeks and I still do not have my sash. The manager has gone to the plant to looke for it to no avail. And I continue to get the run-around. Now she wants me to bring her my sweater so she can take it to the plant and try and match it to a sash... Yeah like I would leave anyting in her hands now. Please DO NOT TRUST ZOOTZ with your clothing. Waivers mean nothing to them, time means nothing to them, your clothes mean nothing to them and you mean nothing to them. Ask around, ask your friends, but please please please boycott this aweful store.
