I have been there many times since around 2005. they went on an extreme remodel about a month ago. I was surprised how high class it looks now, and how the waiters are different...

I have been there many times since around 2005. they went on an extreme remodel about a month ago. I was surprised how high class it looks now, and how the waiters are different. I got to agree that before the waiters did not even speak proper english, although the sushi man were awesome! definitely would recommend to everyone I know. The owner is always there greeting everyone which I thought was fantastic because most restaurants you never get to meet the owner. They have a new selection of sake which are really good! they just came out with a new menu! no more problem with the check, cause once again the owner is there! Pros: awesome new look and great variety of new food! more

Great Sushi Chefs and Great food. 2/16/2007

I have been going to Zono Sushi for years now and it still doesn't get old. The Chefs are very good, sharp, attentive and very cool. The food is fresh and they have a good variety of regular and premium/rare items. I have never had a problem finding seating or a slot at the bar. The food is well priced and you can eat quite a bit without breaking the bank. Very worth it for a casual but good dinner or lunch. Pros: Food and Sushi Bar, plus ample validated parking next door at the Glendale Structure. Close to Theatres and Shopping. Cons: Table waiters are a bit off sometimes and make mistakes here and there. more

Good casual dinning, yummy sushi, nice people. Just double check your money. 9/14/2006

The food and sushi is really good, with good deals. A good place to go for casual dinning, on the nicer side. The waiters are ""eh"", but the people behind the sushi bar are really nice! Just go and talk to them. The only thing is just always double check your money because one time the waitress tried to gip my friend out of 12 dollars, and another time they charged my card wrong (the receipt was different then the bank statement) and granted it was only about 60 cents, but it's the principle of the matter. I've been to Zonos many times, and this has only happend twice, so a good place to go, just double check your money, that's all. Pros: Food, people at the sushi bar. Cons: Gipped twice. more

Great sushi! 2/24/2006

My boyfriend and I love their sushi. The salmon, tuna, spider, and shrimp rolls are great. The men who work in the sushi bar are very talented and friendly. The service is ok and the decor is nice. There is also a yummy tempura ice cream for dessert. Pros: Sushi, Dessert Cons: Parking more

excellent sushi 9/13/2002

Zono does excellent sushi, especially if you stray beyond the standard california roll. For the sushi-scared, try the Glendale roll - a california roll wrapped in soy paper rather than seaweed. Overall, very good. Pros: good food, parking structure more
