Dr. Zollars advertises 24 hour emergency services in the newspaper almost every week, and in the yellow pages. So when I had a very, very serious emergency late at night with my pet, I phoned Dr. Zollars on his emergency phone number. He did call back, but then told me that my emergency was a bigger problem than he "cared to handle so late in the night". I was left to drive into Aurora to the nearest REAL emergency vet, which nearly cost my pet's life. So apparently Dr. Zollars might be interested in putting in a stitch or two at night, if it does not inconvenience him and he can charge you an ER fee, but he does not want to deal with actual emergencies. Shameful.
