No Run of the Mill Toys for Tourists 4/15/2006

For some reason, Zoinks remains the sole toy store in downtown Boston. After the closing of FAO Schwartz, this became it. Unfortunately, they don't have much there. When you think of toys, you usually think of video games, Barbie, action figures, etc. This place has none of those. However, they do have stuffed animals. more

OK 4/15/2006

This is like the only toy store I've seen in Boston (if you don't count the mall KB's or Toys 'R' Us). They get a decent crowd since they're in such a tourist-y area. They have a DDR machine. All I have to say is, what kind of toy store doesn't have Barbie dolls? Other than that though, it's a pretty good store. more

Fun Finds 3/7/2006

Zoinks has everything you would expect to find in a toy store as well as some rare fun finds that will have even adults wondering how they could pass up making a purchase. They have a large selection of legos, plush, Barbies, and specialty games as well as childrens books and Boston-themed toys. They also have an excellent section of small games, toys and fun parephenalia that is both cute and well-priced. The staff is friendly and always willing to help. A great addition to the Faneiul Hall Market Place! more

Fun Toy Store 9/3/2005

Zoinks has a wide range of fun toys for kids of any age. The store is set up to encourage kids to play with them. It has two levels for kids to explore and find the toy that they can't leave without. more

Good For the Wee Ones 8/19/2005

Anybody that is hanging out in governement center with a small child should probably check out this place. I say small child because they seem to pander to the 10 and below crowd. Some toy stores you can go to and find adult games like Balderdash, but this store definitely does not have things like that. It is fun to go to, however, if you are with a kid. more

fun, fun, fun 7/28/2005

Zoinks is a great little toy store, conveniently located in the Fanueil hall marketplace. It has a nice focus on quality, educational toys. My daughter simply loves this shop. While the prices can be a bit on the high side, the toys are just fantastic. They have a nice selection of games and books as well. In the summer the store sponsors a movie series for kids that is just great. Two floors of fun toys and friendly staff await your visit! more
