This is Ridiculous!!!! My cousin has been trying to get her home restored after water damage. For almost 2 months. Zischke Builders Inc. Service Master, sends out contractors that ARE NOT qualified. One of them even brought their CHILD to work with them! They don't know how to properly prep, paint, repair. Their work is shoddy at best. Leave trash all over. Have destroyed, broken things that were stored in the carport to keep it out of the Contractors way. Apparently contractors thought it was "junk" and could treat it like it was junk. Now this! The refrigerator (2nd refrigerator, not in daily), being unplugged & LEFT unplugged in this weather! UNACCEPTABLE more

If you just need carpentry work, maybe Jesse is fine - but we hired him to manage renovations to our bathroom and laundry room (the pictures he's posting on his page today, actually). Terrible communication the whole time and everything was extremely disorganized. Our entire purpose for hiring a general contractor was to not have to manage a bunch of subcontractors. Instead, we had to manage all of them AND him. I just don't think Jesse has the infrastructure in place to juggle multiple medium to large projects. He also needs to build a more reliable stable of subcontractors. We were lied to multiple times during the project, and then lied to about being lied to (which is fun when most everything is in text messages). We basically had to stay on him 24/7 to make sure anything at all got done. Our "2 to 3 week" project just wrapped up at the start of week 10. The one bright spot was Bryan, who did amazing tile work and seemed just as frustrated as us with the poor scheduling and communication. Honestly, I was going to point by point go over what went wrong but it isn't worth any more of my time. Save yourself the headache and just manage subcontractors yourself. more

Amazing! Zischke Builders built a custom window for my bathroom, built a deck on my house, built a bar in my basement and installed a new stormdoor with a custom casing. I put so much faith into Jesse's (the owner) work that I have hired him for four different jobs. Give them a try, they are the most HONEST and BEST workman I have had to work for my home. Two thumbs up! more
