Great Salon for kids! 11/3/2006

I love taking my 15 month old son to Zippity Doos. It makes something that may not be so fun for kids a lot of fun. They can watch a video & drive a jeep, c'mon whats more fun than that for kids?! At least I know he is going to behave while getting a nice haircut. The stylists are so patient and nice to my son, so I have nothing but nice things to say about them...I think whoever thought up this idea was a genius!!! They take their time and give a nice haircut...its worth the $23! more

Horrible haircut, horrible experience 12/22/2005

My 21 month old son does not like having his hairut, so I am realistic in my expectations for the overall experience to be somewhat difficult. However, I didn't expect the brusque hairdresser to manhandle my toddler in an attempt to have him sit still, while instructing me to step away. What's worse is she gave him an all over buzz cut, which is not what I asked for. I am dissappointed that his hair was butchered 3 days before Christmas. more

Kids love it 8/9/2005

My kids love going to zippity doo's for their hair cuts. My son loves to sit in the jeep and pretend he's driving it which is great - he's distracted and the stylist can get to work on cutting his hair. My daughter loves to sit in the Barbie car and chat away with the stylist! It's alot of fun for the kids, pretty good on prices and all the stylists are friendly and great at interacting with the kids. Oh yeah, and they give great hair cuts too! more

zippity doos 7/27/2005

Zippity doos does hair for kids as it is a kids hair salon and toy boutique. they are located one mile east of the meadowbrook parkway. your child can sit in a jeep or a barbie lamborghini. They can have their hair styled while watching a video on their television sets or play nintendo while having a haircut to make a diversion and sit still. The salon is open tuesday thru saturday and closed sunday and mondya. all of the stylists have a lot of patience and work well with your kids. more
