Zio's Italian Kitchen

We enjoy going to Zio's in Independence. We don't get there very often, but it's always our lunch/dinner spot if we make a trip to Independence Center. It reminds me of Olive Garden food-wise, but it has a different ambience (a little more casual). I don't think it's outstanding Italian food, but it's decent and consistent and we've always had good service. I'd recommend it. more

We so love this place! Their food is top knotch and they give you so much. Anytime we go there we sometimes have to wait but once you get seated their waitors are so quick on their feet and your food is out in no time at all. They have a very nice setting and it appears to be an expensive eating restaraunt for very little money. more

Zio's is a fun place to go. The decorations are really like something out of Italy, the food truly isn't. The food is great, don't get me wrong. It just isn't authentic italian. The pizza's are very good and I've never been disappointed with an entree. My husband loves their shrimp fettucini alfredo. I love the bread with olive oil that they bring with every meal. The oreo dessert is fantastic also. They do have a decent bar you can sit at and the bellinis are very tasty. We've always had really good service and the staff are always eager to please. As most places in Independence, this one often gets pretty busy and can have a wait on most weekends. The price is right for this restaurant and the portions are large. Enjoy! more

My daughter and I are frequent visitors to the Zio's in Independence. We have been going to this restaurant since it first opened and have never been disappointed. Their service is always great and the prices are very reasonable. All entrées are served with hot bread and a olive oil dipping sauce goes along with it. I enjoy the margarita pizza. They have a nice selection of salads, sandwiches, pastas, and pizzas. more

I really like this restaurant. The food is wonderful and the service has always been great. This is a huge restaurant which seats lots of people, so I've never had to wait for a table here. I love their pasta dishes and they serve the most wonderful fresh bread. This restaurant is located near a mall and a big shopping district and it's great to go here to sit down for lunch after a busy morning of shopping. I have repeatedly had great dining experiences here, which i can't say for many other places! more

Zio's in Independence, Missouri is one of my favorite restaurants. The service is superb. They bring out the most wonderful loaf of bread and they create a dipping sauce at your table consisting of special herbs and cheese and olive oil. I love the pizzas, salads, sandwiches, and pastas. The prices are very reasonable and everyone that works there seems glad to be at work. more
